The laminar flow pass box is a kind of auxiliary equipment for cleanrooms, mainly used for the transfer of small items between two clean areas or between clean area and non-clean area, to reduce the number of cleanroom door opening times and minimize the pollution of cleanroom. UV lamps are installed in the pass box to disinfect the items before passing them to the clean area. On the one hand, it plays the role of airlock to prevent the high pressure from being leaked in the high-class cleanroom; and on the other hand, it realizes the self-cleaning effect during the transfer process to ensure the cleanliness of the items entering the clean area and reduce the cross-contamination brought by the items.

Basic performance requirements:
◎ Cleanliness requirements inside the laminar flow pass box: Class A;
◎ Adopts inner and outer housing design, with rounded treatment around the
inside to ensure gap-free connection;
◎ Adopts laminar flow design, with the airflow direction of upward supply and
downward return mode, and 304# stainless steel cold-rolled plate punching
design at the bottom, combined with reinforcing ribs;
◎ Filter: G4 for the primary-efficiency filter and H14 for the HEPA filter;
◎ Air speed: After passing the HEPA filter, the air speed is controlled at
0.36-0.54 m/s (tested at 150 mm below the flow equalizing plate at the high-efficiency air outlet);
◎ Differential pressure function: Display filter differential pressure (ranging
0-500Pa for HEPA), with the accuracy of ±5Pa;
◎ Control function: Equipped with fan start/stop button and built-in electronic
door interlock; set UV lamp, designed to switch separately;
◎ An access port is equipped in the lower part of the pass box for the maintenance of the fan;
◎ Noise: Noise <65db during normal operation of the pass box;
◎ Flow equalizing plate at high-efficiency air outlet: 304# stainless steel mesh
plate is used.
